'What-if'-ness ?!

A live anecdote: I had completed my Spanish A1 certification in August'2023 and after an almost 2.5 year gap, now want to continue the pursuit of learning Spanish but ....
What if - I need to be proficient in A1 before applying for A2, considering I have forgotten almost 70% of what I learnt 2.5 years back?!
What if- I am unable to catch up with the A2 syllabus considering I have become older and have less attention span vs 2.5 years back?!
Bogged down by these "What-ifs" for a month, I decided to do the bare minimum by filling up an online query with my situation on their website and voila! within 2 hours, they called up with answers that perfectly suited me and my "What-if-ness"!
They had an "express 10 hour course" with 1-1 teaching to revise A1 course and post that I could decide to take up A2 course with a 6 month completion period (enough for an ageing man in his senses).

And now, suddenly my brain goes -
What if- I complete not just A2 but also B1 in the next 6 months and unlock proficiency that enables me to teach others?!
What if- I find some other interest while learning Spanish that can open up newer avenues?!
The dual-mirror phenomenon that 'What-if' ness is...
Mirror 1: WIFF: What-if ness with FEAR
Mirror 2: WIFWF: What-if ness without FEAR
And if you thought it's an 'adult-only' phenomenon, sample this actual anecdote with my 8 yr old who wanted to learn swimming as his friends could swim but the first thought that hit him:
"What if I am drowning and coach is busy , who will save me?"
Proud to say now that he knows his chops and asked me recently ...
"What if I dive into the pool even though it's written 'no diving' ?!"
So the obvious question is:
How did he or me in previous example, reach this point of WIFWF from WIFF?!

The thought of 'What if' comes from a position of fear and fear of course is a result of diffidence. Hence, the only way to counter WIFF is by actually showing up and then counter it!
If your mind is loud- Write.
If your mind is empty- Read.
If your mind is racing - Walk.
If your mind is tired- Sleep.
If your mind is sharp - Build.
If your mind is 'WIFF' ing- Just Act!!
